In 2022 my role changed to focus primarily on the digital presence of Anglican Aid. Most notably this included being responsible for the website, our social channels, and the production of content across a variety of other digital mediums.
This role allowed me to develop my strategic thinking further as I had to consider how these different channels could interact and support each other, whilst remaining strong as distinct entities. It gave me an opportunity to use data and analytics to build cases and justify choices made. This has led me to have a more holistic understanding of digital marketing, as I have been responsible for all levels of production.
As a communications officer I was responsible for a diverse range of jobs including copywriting, email strategy, website creation, social media coordination and video production. This has further developed my ability to produce content to a brief and operate creatively, whilst under strict brand guidelines and limitations.
During my time at Anglican Aid, I have also overseen the coordination of emergency appeals, developed strategies for donor acquisition and used analytics to improve the impact of my creative product.
Whilst completing my studies, I worked as a part of the night-fill team. In this role it was essential to work as a team, in order to complete set tasks and overcome unforeseen challenges.
